GYMDESK × BUZZLEAD · THE HIVE · SEPTEMBER 2026
BuzzLead

Welcome to the Hive, Gymdesk.

Alex, we just finished a run with Forever Fierce, a company selling into independent gym owners with no repeatable pipeline. Gymdesk is shaped the same way. It would have been wrong not to get this in front of you. So: a jar of honey, and the plan.

Underneath the jar: every US gym mapped, the 12,500 that look like your best customers, and three campaigns we'd run for Gymdesk in the next 30 days.

PREPARED FOR ALEX CUEVAS · AUSTIN, TX · FROM ST. PETE BEACH, FL

Section 01 · Why there's honey on your desk

Three things came with the jar.

01

The honey

Raw, from a US apiary. Something you'll open instead of file.

02

This page

Your market sized, the customers you already win and the accounts that look like them, and three campaigns: TAM, lookalike, intent. Built for Gymdesk.

03

The call

Twenty minutes with Troy and Nick. We bring the account list we'd start with. You tell us where to start.

Section 02 · The company shaped like you

Forever Fierce: referral roulette to 20 to 25 meetings a month.

Sells merch programs to CrossFit gym owners. Referrals had dried up and paid ads never paid back. We mapped 1,900 gyms across eight metros, tracked gym size, rebrand activity and Instagram velocity, reframed the pitch around resellable merch, and booked 125 meetings in four months. Same shape as Forever Fierce: gym owners as the buyer, a public storefront on Google Maps, and a purchase decision made without a committee.

BuzzLead used smart data-scraping to find the biggest gyms in cities and helped us reshape our offer. Now we get 25+ qualified leads monthly, generating $75k+ in revenue, including a recent $20k client.Matt Albrizio, Founder, Forever Fierce

Section 03 · The sweet part

What could be sweeter than 6,000 to 10,000 more of your best customers?

You already have the dream ones: the gyms that grow, retain, and refer others without being asked. We take those, run them through our lookalike tool, and find another 6,000 to 10,000 that look exactly like them. Then we run hyper-personalized, highly targeted outreach to every one.

Same size, same setup, same reasons to buy as the accounts on the right. Modeled, not guessed.

Section 04 · Your market, sized

Every cell is a gym.

Every US gym, martial arts school and studio shows up on Google Maps with a category, address and review count, and most file a business license with their state. We build the list from that, enrich the owner and GM, and time sends to enrollment seasons.

Section 05 · Intent

You're the first supplier that comes to mind.

We'll actively monitor all 41,556 US fitness and recreational sports centers and reach out when the right signal shows up, so Gymdesk is the first name a gym owner thinks of when membership and billing software comes up.

  • New gym or studio opensGoogle Maps new-listing flags and state business filings show a gym with no software stack yet.
  • General Manager or Sales Director job postingLinkedIn and Indeed postings signal a gym scaling past owner-operator capacity.
  • Second location announcedLocal press and duplicate Google Maps listings show growth needing multi-site billing.
  • Negative reviews about billing or schedulingGoogle and Yelp reviews naming double-charges or app outages flag a switch in motion.
  • Competitor contract renewal windowMindbody, PushPress and Zen Planner run annual terms; public pricing pages show renewal timing.
  • New program or class type addedWebsite and social updates announcing kids classes or open gym hours signal a member-management gap.

Section 06 · Three strategies, deployed together

TAM, lookalike, intent. Every angle, from day one.

This isn't one list and one email. We deploy three strategies at once, each with its own angle: the whole market gets the offer, the accounts that mirror your best customers get the proof, and anyone showing a buying signal gets a note the week it happens. Then we double down on whichever one the market answers.

STRATEGY 1 · TAM

Own the whole market

TargetThe ~12,500 gyms in your sweet spot: 5 to 20 employees, owner-operated, enriched from Google Maps and state business filings
AngleOne system for billing, attendance and marketing instead of three disconnected tools and a spreadsheet
~12,500 ACCOUNTS
STRATEGY 2 · LOOKALIKE

Mirror your best customers

TargetGyms that look like Raion Dojo, RTS Barbell, Warrior Axe Crossfit, Sasaki Judo and Origami Rhythmics: same discipline, size and coach-led structure
AngleLead with the martial arts or CrossFit gym they already resemble and what changed after Gymdesk
~6,000+ ACCOUNTS
STRATEGY 3 · INTENT

Catch them in-market

TargetGyms showing a buying signal this quarter: new gym opened, GM or sales hire posted, second location announced, or reviews flag a billing problem
AngleA one-to-one note written from the signal, sent the week it happens
~8,000 PER YEAR ACCOUNTS

Section 08 · Join the Hive

The honey was the easy part.

Alex, we'll walk the three strategies above, show you the accounts we'd start with, and tell you what it would take. No deck.
